The best laid plans…
A jumbo 25 x 36 screen. There were 21 separate impressions of this screen to create this piece, all precisely roughly aligning to create the color gradient. Because of the angle of the gradient, the area is taped off in a parallelogram configuration.

Notes: One of the most ambitious gradients I’ve printed to date. This continuous gradient is comprised of twenty-one tiled impressions using my biggest screen. Complicating matters, the gradient is aligned at a 40° angle, a challenge that introduced uncertainty, glitches, and trigonometry.
The canvas strips are attached directly to the wall via ¼-inch wood spacers attached to the corners of each strip.
