This piece was commissioned by a supporter of local artists who I met at Open Studios. The patron in question told me she was interested in a screen print that depicted her home, on the only street in San Francisco that gets to be called Hill Street.
Her: Is there anything new you have wanted to try? Me: I have always wanted to try printing on metal. Her: Can you do that? Me: Me: Me: Me: yes?
