Last night was Little Opera‘s fist annual gala, in which professional adult singers performed an opera completely written and composed by kids.
This was thoroughly successful.
In addition to the performance, we set up an improvised photo booth featuring the inimitable Polaroid peel apart film system. This was also thoroughly successful. Lots of absurdly fun double exposures, triple exposures, and see if you can’t spot mezzo soprano Wendy Buzby featured in the previously-unimaginable quadruple exposure! We call that one “Happy Sad Afraid Mad,” named for the only emotions that exist according to my court-ordered family counselor.
